The online assessment eliminates more candidates than every interview combined — and 30 structured days are genuinely enough to clear it comfortably. Here’s the plan; pair it with our reasoning bank for daily drills.
Week 1 — Quant foundations (the score engine)
Percentages, ratios, averages, profit-loss, simple/compound interest. These underpin half of quant. Daily: learn one topic’s 2-3 methods → 20 problems → note the shortcut patterns. Speed target comes later; accuracy first.
Week 2 — Quant completion + logical start
Time-work, time-speed-distance, permutations basics, probability basics, data interpretation (tables/graphs — free marks with practice). Begin logical: series, coding-decoding, blood relations, directions — the tricks per topic compress these beautifully.
Week 3 — Logical completion + verbal
Syllogisms, seating, puzzles, data sufficiency. Verbal daily from now: reading comprehension (one passage), error spotting, sentence completion, vocabulary-in-context (verbal guide). Verbal rewards daily contact more than bulk sessions.
Week 4 — Mock mode
- Alternate days: full timed mocks in real test format — the skill being trained is test-taking itself: time allocation, skip decisions, composure.
- Other days: error autopsy — every wrong answer classified (concept gap vs silly slip vs time pressure) and patched. The autopsy is where scores actually move.
- End of week: you should know your per-section timing and your skip-triggers cold.
The two rules that decide scores
Accuracy before speed (speed grows from method familiarity, not hurry), and skip ruthlessly — every test has questions designed to eat four minutes; leaving them is a scoring decision. Thirty minutes daily beats three-hour weekends; consistency is the entire trick. Company-specific patterns: TCS NQT guide and company guides.
